Facilities and Resources
Since 1990, FMA has
operated the Yucca Ridge Field Station which has served as the site of
several international scientific experiments researching severe weather
phenomena. FMA has extensive computer, graphics, video/DVD production
and editing facilities to support forensic and scientific investigations.
A new 2500 square foot laboratory and office facility was added in 1996.

Extensive library of time lapse video and 35 mm slides for illustrating
weather phenomena
Meteorological libraries (Colorado State University; National Center for
